Logo that speaks for the brand

With our chosen brand, three logotypes play with the shape and font — HORACE, Recipe for Men and Gillette. For the rest, it shares style with its unique own symbol implant. For Bulldog, a typical combination mark. And for Monsieur Barbier is the cutest in the group, the mascot.


Let's start from the majority — the logotype. Starting from the youngest brand,

HORACE, also the one using pure wordmark without any change. Think about twice… that's an intelligent choice that corresponds perfectly with their motto, a brand that looks like you and us where you are all welcome and offers simple, effective natural products.

Coming next, older brother — Recipe for men from Sweden. It's the same style as HORACE. It's well represented what Sweden was known for its design and beauty…simplify and sexual indifference style alongside two unignorable colours.

For the past 120 years, the logo of Gillette has been changed to a more modern style to draw a new generation of consumers. The logotype for Gillette is very dynamic and efficient, which is considered a classic and traces the brand's history as it is in honour of its creator. The slight twist of the letter' i' is a sharp square shape instead of round, reflecting the precision of the razor blades perfectly.

BULLDOG is using a combination mark for the brand logo and is originally from the United Kingdom. Is it a strange name? Nobody would think about skincare when you think about the bulldog. Why choose this particular word? The founder was never mentioned in their story. So, let's take a guess. Is it because the dog breed is one of the most famous ones? Is it because the dog breed bulldog is all known as troubled by skin issues with sensitive skin type which needs special care? Or is it both? We don't know, but there's one sure thing. That's indeed a great name of the brand and very easy to memorize.

MONSIEUR BARBIER definitely speaking out loud for their value proposition with the mascot logo. You can find a professional barber staring at you on every product. To give an experience of having a personal barber just in the bathroom. And leave as a fresh, shining man.
