What made the trend for men to focus on skin care...? who doesn’t like a perfect silky soft and smooth skin. Personally, I love it.
It’s always been gym and fitness activities are the men’s best friend (majority of men).
Men will spend a fortune on fitness supplement and gym membership to build a perfect body shape.
6 packs abs and pumped muscles has always been considered as a perfect man for ages, time has changed, and the market has revolved. Companies and products have managed to create a direct relationship between fitness and skincare. Every men’s skin care product has been branded with a different stories in it, it could be a vegan product, No animal sources, perfectly organic...etc
Best example I can think off from a daily life is the simple sun cream, the way cosmetic brands advertise their brand is by showing a high-tech fitness model with perfect muscles on a beach. They have covered the fitness element as called “beach body:” and it is protected by the company skincare product.
I remember a sentence from my previous boss (if my memory is correct) “show your best face” before I do any presentation/shows or going for a business meeting. if I could elaborate the sentence, I could put it as Face will be the first thing we show, and the last thing people forget.
Can we imagine Arnold Schwarzenegger with a very dry and damage skin and doing the muscle show on stage? I’m not so sure that the audience will he highly impressed.
Perception is excessive sweating in gym means high intensity workout, with excessive sweating the possibility of skin concerns raises. This the time the “Skincare Routine” plays an important role. To make it in a business way companies has marketed their products as per-workout skin care routines and post-workout skincare routines.
It has been very clear that fitness is not just 6 pack abs and muscles, the conditions of your skin has a main role in the day to day life and person personality.
