Recipe for men was born in a small town in Sweden, in 2004 by a former Olympic athlete. Presenting with its signature red and Scandinavian design in over 25 countries until today.

‘A logical skincare brand’ is their motto. What they’re trying to tell the consumers? What matters more to men than logic? The underline meaning is this is the only thing needed and no more extra things. As the majority of men are quite lazy or prefer simplicity. Being precious and fast.

A skincare brand created by men specifically only for men. The name of the brand sends a strong signal to all men. Announcing their differentiation from other brands and targeting the ‘new’ audience often rank the least important. Shouting to stop being the subordinate under the woman’s world in cosmetics with an attitude to make every man feel special and unique again. The brand has particular concealer for a man, such as dark circles and spots, just like makeup. Men also deserve to be pretty, after all.


The design (all products in red and only a white sticker with all the details you need) are inspired by contemporary codes and the medical world, with an attractive design that reflects the technical profile of the brand. On the practical side: a red object is easy to spot in the washing room.


Without a doubt, the brand has a very typical character of ruggedness. Despite the fact, it’s also very fashionable compared to other products for men that can be found in drug stores or supermarkets. A plus with a very affordable price similar to other brands can be found in stores.


Shockingly, you barely can find any information nor articles that talk about the brand. Yet it’s the top brand in the Scandinavian area, at least. What’s their branding strategy? Perhaps word-of-mouth spreading great products is enough, and it’s the sincerest way.
